To the Ohio Power Siting Board,
I am writing to urge your support for the Frasier Solar project (Case #23-0796-EL-BGN).
Frasier Solar would invest heavily in Knox County's local schools and economy while helping preserve farmland that would otherwise be permanently converted to residential development over time.
Frasier Solar's plans to plant native grasses and pollinators across the site will help create new insect biodiversity in the area, which will aid not only our environment but also crop yields on the adjacent farm fields. There are few better ways of helping clean our local waterways than letting soil rest for decades via the native grasses that Frasier will plan under the panels.
Frasier Solar is a win-win for our community and for our state.
